Hello, Friend,
Scroll all the way to the bottom to meet a couple of new Original Tribe members!
We've made the fur hat from an otter pelt in part 1 below, now it's time to make a brass buckle for the hat strap in part 2. With this hat strap around the back of your head, your hat will never fall off. Brian uses a jeweler's saw, files, clamps, sand paper, and steel wool to make this brass buckle.
If you didn’t see part 1, here it is:
In addition, we posted two YouTube #Shorts this week, that you might not have seen because they show up mostly on mobile.
The first is a coat Brian made for himself. The pattern is known as a “capo” or “capoe” (we’re not sure on the spelling). It’s similar to a capote. By the way, the Australian Shepard is Rosco. He’s a new member of the Original Tribe.
The second #short is of a mermaid that Brian scrimshawed onto a bead made from the tooth of a beluga whale.
And finally, we want to welcome yet another new member of the Original Tribe, three month old Lab-mix Georgia. Here she is helping Max send out this email:
She’s a lapdog for now, but not for long!
Thanks for being part of the Original Tribe, and please forward this email to anyone you know who would enjoy watching our videos.
