Nalbinding is an ancient method of creating textiles. It predates both knitting and crochet, and uses a single needle. In this video, Brian leads your through the simple process of making your own nalbinding needle from the leg bone of a deer.
If you don't have any deer bone hanging around, you can use cow bone just as easily, which you can purchase at just about any pet store where they're sold as chew toys for dogs.
